East Midlands STEM Partnership
The East Midlands STEM Partnership is the voice of science, technology, engineering and mathematics education and business communities in the region. Through its members – STEM partners, educators and business – the Partnership provides the stimulation, skills and support for STEM professionals of the future.

 

STEM Ambassador Hub West Midlands
The University of Worcester coordinates the West Midlands STEM Ambassador Hub to help inspire young people in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. STEM Ambassadors cross all ages and backgrounds, representing thousands of different employers across the UK.

 

Staffordshire STEM Centre
The Entrust STEM is a non-profit organisation delivering enrichment and enhancement activities for Primary, Secondary and Post 16 Education. We design and deliver engaging activities to inspire and motivate young people in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM). Working closely with Teachers, Ambassadors, Employers and Strategic Partners, we aim to transform the STEM learning experience of students and teachers alike.

 

Midlands Physics Alliance
The aim of the Alliance is to establish a co-ordinated research grouping and a joint Graduate School with the critical mass to compete with the top US and EU Universities. The Alliance is built on current high quality research in each of our departments (all RAE grade 5), and in 2007 has received initial funding from HEFCE of  £4 million to develop the graduate school over the next five years and in 2010 received a further £3M for phase II of the Graduate School until 2015 involving the STFC areas – Astrophysics, Nuclear and Particle Physics.

 

ThinkTank – Birmingham Science Museum
Thinktank, Birmingham's award winning science museum, offers an enlightening and fun packed day out for the family. From steam engines and talking robots through to gurgling guts and a chocolate wrapping machine, Thinktank has over 200 hands-on displays on science and technology. Housed inside the impressive Millennium Point building at Thinktank you will find four floors of hands-on exhibits and historical collections that will amaze and inspire you, showing you the science of the world all around us. Including the Science Garden, Planetarium and an exciting programme of events and activities, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

 

Potteries Science Festival
The Potteries Science Festival is a collaboration between science enthusiasts and professionals looking to bring a WOW! factor to Stoke-on-Trent’s cultural landscape. We will showcase STEAM (science-technology-engineering-art-mathematics-medicine) events in the city and promote the appreciation of the sciences among learners of all backgrounds.  Our mission is to raise the aspirations and ambitions of our community, to inspire our children to enjoy their studies and to encourage the pursuit of ambitious STEAM careers in local schools.
