Volunteers from IOP’s East Anglia Branch took the Institute’s ‘Physics in the Field’ programme to both days of the annual agricultural festival, which attracted almost 90,000 people.

Other physics tricks brought out for the weekend included balloon kebabs, straw oboes and the Cartesian diver.

Branch members interested in taking part next year can contact East Anglia Regional Officer Esther Bennett.
