7.30 p.m., IOP Publishing, Dirac House, Temple Back, Bristol BS1 6BE

Cleaner sustainable ways of supplying energy to homes and vehicles are attracting considerable attention, and include fuel cells and lithium batteries. For the next generation of such technologies, the discovery and development of new materials are critical to future breakthroughs. This talk highlights the use of powerful atomic-scale modelling and structural techniques to help understand novel crystalline materials for fuel cell and battery applications.
