Branch Dinner 12 November 2008

The 2008 Branch dinner will be held at IOP HQ at 20.00 on the 12 November. There will be the usual Wednesday evening talk beforehand. Dinner attendees will be automatically added to the list of potential attendees for the evening talk. The cost of the dinner (including wine) will be £30. Guests are welcome. Bookings (and cancellations) can be made up to the 9 November. Since numbers are limited by accommodation, late bookers should inquire about space availability. If you would like to come but some item on the menu is unacceptable, please let David Pick know and he will try and arrange an individual substitute.

The menu on offer is:

• Plum tomato and buffalo mozzarella stack with a toasted pine nuts and a pesto dressing
• Corn fed chicken breast stuffed with thyme cream cheese with sautéed spinach and dauphinoise potatoes

• Tournedos of salmon in a mussel, autumn vegetable and marjoram broth

• Cox’s Pippin apple and blackberry crumble with Rodda’s Cornish clotted cream
• Seasonal great British cheese board with grapes, celery and biscuits
