Other awards from the Institute of Physics

The following awards lie outside the gift of Council, please select the relevant menu for details of the nomination process:

The Simon Memorial Prize is awarded by the committee of the Institute’s Low Temperature Group.

The David Bates Prize is awarded by the committee of the Institute’s Division of Atomic, Molecular, Optical and Plasma Physics.

The Institute of Physics Branches Prize is awarded by the Nations and Regions Board.

The Teachers of Physics Awards and Teachers of Primary Science Awards are awarded by the committee of the Education Group.

The Best Practice in Professional Development awards are awarded by the institute's Professional Standards committee.

The Institute undertakes the administration of, and collates the nominations for, the Kenneth John Button Medal but plays no part in the selection procedure.
