Science Board
The Science Board is delegated the following responsibilities and powers by the Council of the Institute:
- to develop Science Strategy - working with other Boards of Council as appropriate - and the recommendation of strategy within the available resources to Council for their consideration and agreement.
- to develop policy in areas directly relevant to Science - working with other Boards of Council as appropriate - and the recommendation of policy to Council for their consideration and agreement.
- to advise on the Science Programme of Activities to achieve the goals and strategy agreed by Council, working with other Boards of the Council as appropriate.
- reporting to Council on the progress of the Science Programme in delivering on the Strategy.
- any other specific delegated powers agreed by Council.
