ASSET survey

The Athena Survey of Science, Engineering and Technology (ASSET) was first undertaken in 2003/4 and repeated in 2006.

It explored differences in the career progression, expectations and experiences of male and female scientists and created a baseline of data against which to measure future progress. The survey was being repeated across UK STEMM departments in 2010. It was supported by The Royal Society, led by Imperial College and funded by HEFCE.
