Some consequences of a Higgs triplet
2009 J. Phys. G: Nucl. Part. Phys. 36 025002 (22pp) doi: 10.1088/0954-3899/36/2/025002
Abstract. In the framework of the model of the electroweak interaction with an extended Higgs sector (including, apart from the standard double, two triplets of Higgs bosons) conserving rho =1, the widths of the decays Z0 to H0 gamma are calculated, where H0 is one of the four Higgs bosons which appear in this model. The calculations are carried out in the parameter region lambda <1 and m3, m5>or=50 GeV, where the lambda are constants in the Higgs potential of the model, and m3 and m5 are the masses of the charged Higgs bosons in this model. It is found that in this parameter region the decay widths may be significantly enhanced in comparison with the result of the standard model. In particular, in the region of masses m5>or approximately=50 GeV and lambda approximately 1 the decay widths may exceed the standard result by two orders of magnitude
