IOP Chief Executive Bob Kirby-Harris has written to Lord Drayson, Minister for Science and Innovation, endorsing the proposal, which we understand is currently under consideration by government, that any further economic stimulus package should include additional investment in the science base. Following consultation with a number of individual members on the physics-related elements that such a package might contain, IOP put forward a range of options available here, as input to the government's thinking.
