New and improved PhysMail

Member News

29 November 2006

PhysMail is the members’ e-mail service.  The service has just been completely updated and the new service goes live on Saturday 2 December 2006.

Current users should click here to get up to date instructions for accessing the new system.

PhysMail offers both e-mail and calendar services and features include:

  • 50MB mailbox per member
  • web based access
  • POP3 or IMAP4
  • Forwarding facility
  • User definition of spam filters
  • Calendar sharing

All PhysMail accounts are @physics.org.  If you use PhysMail your friends and colleagues will never need to update their records because if you change your ISP you make one change within PhysMail and all your messages will still reach you.

PhysMail is available free to members and lasts as long as membership is active.

If you would like to set up a PhysMail account please click here to log in and then select My PhysMail from the left hand menu and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you have questions about this service please e-mail member.services@iop.org
