Member

You have an honours degree in the physical sciences or engineering or its equivalent. Alternatively you are able to demonstrate an equivalent level of attainment through a combination of education, training and experience. In addition you have had a minimum of three years post-degree experience during which professional skills have been acquired. This experience could be gained through education or training relating to the practice of physics, or through employment consistent with the range of careers pursued by physics graduates. Once your application has been approved you can use the designatory letters MInstP after your name.

Members and Fellows of the Institute are also known as corporate members which confers the right to vote in Institute elections.
