StatPhys24 The 24th IUPAP International Conference on Statistical Physics,
StatPhys24, will be held from 19-23 July 2010 in Cairns, Australia. Cairns lies in the tropical north of Australia. Various satellite meetings will be held in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region in the lead up to and following StatPhys24. For further information, please see www.statphys.org.au
Call for Boltzmann Award nominations
The IUPAP C3 committee is sending out a call (see www.statphys.org.au) to nominate candidates for the 2010 Boltzmann Medal, which will be awarded at the StatPhys24 meeting. You may send your nomination directly to the chairman of the committee, Henri Orland, at the address Boltzmann.medal@cea.fr. The deadline for nominations is 1 September 2009.
