Abstract. Recently a software package for the structure analysis of quasicrystals has been released, giving a better environment for determining quasicrystal structures. Therefore we can analyze their structures if we know data collection and indexing methods and a theory of structure analysis. For the use of the package, the structure analysis method and several techniques used in the package are shortly reviewed. How to treat key information in the input files of the programs is described in detail.
