Abstract. Using the theory of '2kF' scattering and localisation of electrons in disordered systems the authors have carried out calculations of the resistivity of liquid potassium containing halide ions across the entire concentration range from pure potassium to the molten salt and have obtained remarkable agreement with the experimental results.
