Coincidence analysis in gravitational wave experiments

Abstract. In the search for gravitational wave burst signals, the coincidence of two or more detectors is necessary. We outline here some of the problems that arise when performing a coincidence analysis, given the fact that the detectors have, in general, different sensitivities.
