Abstract. Difficulty in obtaining very low noise difference amplification with gain stability using conventional operational amplifier circuitry is considered. A design procedure eliminating the incompatibility of gain stability and low noise is discussed. The design, circuit details and performance of low noise, high input impedance amplifier with good gain stability and wide offset range is described.
