Resonant pumping of a degenerate multilevel system

Abstract. A study of the effects of resonant pumping on the (J, K)=(1, 1) 14NH3 inversion spectral line allows investigation of the coherence transfer processes which may occur within the (J, K)=(1, 1) energy level scheme. It is concluded that the transfer processes between microwave coherences do not significantly affect the absorption spectrum of the (J, K)=(1, 1) transition.
