Experimental Techniques in Semiconductor Research

Date:
11 November 2009
Venue:
East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham
Organised by:
Semiconductor Physics Group

Details

This one-day course is aimed primarily at new researchers working in the fields of experimental semiconductor physics and semiconductor technology. Much of the content will also be of interest to the wider condensed matter research community and to established researchers. The talks will emphasize practical aspects of semiconductor research such as device fabrication, choice of equipment and measurement techniques. Subjects will include: semiconductor growth, characterisation and processing, scanning probe methods, low noise electrical measurements and optical measurement techniques.
