Location and Venue
The conference will be held at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) in the award winning Peter Jost Enterprise Centre and James Parson Building situated at the heart of Liverpool and just a short walk from the train station.
Located in England's North West, Liverpool has excellent road, rail and air links. The University is easily reached via the M58, M56 and M62 motorways and has good express connections from most towns and cities in Britain (half hourly services to Manchester, hourly services to York and every two hours to London and Birmingham). Liverpool John Lennon Airport is just 8 miles from the City Centre and has regular scheduled flights from Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Geneva and Paris.
In 2008, Liverpool will become the European City of Culture. In preparation for this award, Liverpool has transformed the city centre and water front, with the Albert Dock now among the UK's top leisure attractions. Liverpool is also home to two cathedrals, two football clubs and the most famous pop group in the world.
Accommodation
En-Suite accommodation will be provided in the Halls of Residences 'Opal Court' located approximately 10 minutes walk from the Peter Jost Centre. Accommodation at Opal Court is available at £40.00 per room per night and includes a continental breakfast.
