Venue and Accommodation

The conference will be held at the University of Reading, Whiteknights Campus. The campus is located north of the M4 in Berkshire. It is easily accessible by rail and air with a regular service operating from London Paddington. Gatwick and Heathrow International Airports have convenient links to Reading.

Collection of Bedroom Keys:  All delegates should sign in at Park Group Reception at Windsor Hall.  This is the central reception for Whiteknights Hall.  Room keys are available after 1400hrs and normally the reception is manned until 2300hrs.  Please advise Jon Mackew (jon.mackew_AT_iop.org) if you plan to arrive after 2300hrs. 
 
Luggage storage: If delegates arrive before 1400hrs when their rooms will be available, they are able to leave their luggage at Windsor Hall prior to returning and collecting keys and luggage after 1400hrs.  This facility is also available on the day of departure. Please note that the Institute of Physics and the University of Reading accept no responsibility for the loss or damage of items left in the storage area.
