In previous years, an exhibition is held alongside the CMMP conference to provide exhibitors in the field of Condensed Matter and related areas the opportunity to display products and services to a specialised audience.

The exhibition will take place in The Windsor Building close to the lecture theatres and poster sessions.

The exhibition is an integral and valuable part of the conference programme.  It provides researches, academics, grant holders and entrepreneurs the opportunity to mix.  The conference infrastructure and the central  location of the exhibition will ensure that the exhibition is a pivotal experience for the conference delegates, so that old acquaintances can be renewed and new contacts created.

Designated times during the programme will be scheduled for participants to visit the exhibition; during these times refreshments will be served. In addition, an exhibitor’s reception will be held in the exhibition area on Thursday 27 March.

Day Visitors Exhibition
In order to maximize and ensure time at the exhibition is well spent, we will undertake to organize a day visitor’s programme. Day visitors would be invited from areas of the country to attend the exhibition and poster session during the times when lectures are taking place. Targeted e-shots will be sent to members of our Business Affiliates Network (BAN) as well as our membership. This is an extra incentive for you to exhibit your products.

Set up and close down times
Exhibitors can set up their stands between 08:30 and 10:00 on the morning of Thursday 27. Stand break down from 16:00 on Friday 28.  Please note that there is no facility to set up the day before the exhibition.

What is provided?
Exhibitors will be provided with the following: one table, two chairs.  Display boards, displays and power cable extensions will not be provided.  Exhibitors must ensure that any equipment being brought onto the premises has a PAT certificate.  Posters should not be fixed to the walls in the exhibition area.
