Physical Acoustics Tutorial Day: Imaging

The annual Tutorial Day of the Physical Acoustics Group will be held in the Hooke Room of the Institute of Physics, 76 Portland Place, London, on 10 September 2009. There will, as usual, be three tutorials, each aimed at bringing a topic to a non-specialist audience. This year the tutorials have an imaging theme and will be given by:

Dr Jeffrey Bamber, Head of Ultrasound and Optical Imaging in the Joint Department of Physics, Institute of Cancer Research and Royal Marsden NHS Trust;

Dr Samantha Dugelay, Acoustic Scientist, Dstl Porton Down.

Dr Paul Wilcox, Reader, Mechanical Engineering Department, Bristol;

Registration:

Registration includes attendance on the day itself, lunch and refreshments and conference material for one person. 

Fees:

The following registration fee applies to those registering on-line using a valid credit or debit card. A supplement of £10 will apply for all other methods of registration. Please note that the £10 discount will be applied on the basket page when the method of payment has been selected. The Institute of Physics reserves the right to amend your fee if the payment method selected is incorrect. 

Register:

On-line registration is recommended and is the most secure method for those wishing to pay by credit or debit card. A reduction of £10.00 will be applied to those registering on-line with a valid debit or credit card at the basket page. All payments will be processed securely using WorldPay and confirmation of your payment will be sent by e-mail once the transaction is complete

Concessionary
The Concessionary rate is available to student and retired members of the Institute of Physics and those on a career break or a low income.

Non Members
