Cecil Powell - the ‘Pionic Man’ - honoured at Bristol University

Professor Hugh Brady (right), vice chancellor and president of the University of Bristol, unveiled a European Physical Society historic site award in the H H Wills Physics Laboratory to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the first observed decay of the pion by Cecil Powell.
